How to Register a Business on Buyam
  • If you wish to join the digital market and experience a boost in your sales, register your business on Buyam.
  • This video highlights all the steps you need to follow to become a
    a verified vendor on Buyam Click on "𝙎𝙚𝙡𝙡 𝙤𝙣 𝘽𝙪𝙮𝙖𝙢"
  • A registration page opens up.Make sure you fill all the Information in the form.
  • Start off by typing the 𝙉𝙖𝙢𝙚 of your business/ company. Give a name that corresponds with your business, or whatever you would like to be called. Mine is E-Commerce Africa.
  • Add your business 𝙀𝙢𝙖𝙞𝙡 or any email that is linked to your business.
    Type in your 𝙋𝙝𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙣𝙪𝙢𝙗𝙚𝙧 Remember, do not use a phone number that has already been Registered to another business account on Buyam.
  • Then include a strong 𝙋𝙖𝙨𝙨𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙙 of not less than 8words or letters. For security measures, your password should have a mixture of words , letters and symbols.
  • When done, click on '𝙎𝙞𝙜𝙣 𝙐𝙥'
  • You can let Google save your password so they can auto-fill it for you the next time you visit the page.
  • Click on '𝙎𝙚𝙣𝙙 𝘾𝙤𝙙𝙚', a six digit code will be sent to your phone. That is to the number you used to register the account.
  • At this point, open your phone and memorize the digits, or write them down on paper if your phone does not have the auto-fill function.
  • While filling in the digits, remember to keep them accurate and exactly the same as you received.
  • When You're done typing in the numbers, click on "𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙛𝙮" to be able to proceed.
    If you get this notification (red) then you must have missed a digit. So hade back to your check boxes and
    correct it.
  • When verification is complete, The next page opens up. At this stage, make sure you have pictures of your documents ready or you have them before you, just in case you want to snap during the process.
  • Input a B𝙪𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙣𝙖𝙢𝙚,that is how you would want the public to address your business.
    Add an A𝙙𝙙𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙨, that is where the business is located or it's headquarters.
    Add a C𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙞𝙢𝙖𝙜𝙚. It can be your logo or just a random image that you
    choose to identify with.
  • I'll pick the Golden pheasant just for this video's sake. As you click on it, you can resize it just as you want.
  • And here, it starts uploading as your profile picture.
    At this juncture, we are creating a business account so click on '𝘽𝙪𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨' instead of individual. And here comes another validation phase, uploading your personal and business identification documents.
  • Click 'N𝙚𝙭𝙩' and proceed.
    With your pictures ready ,Click on 𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙨𝙚 𝙛𝙞𝙡𝙚𝙨 just beneath N.I.C ( National Identity Card, both sides are required) Click on 'F𝙞𝙡𝙚𝙨' to upload or 'camera' to snap at the moment.
  • Here's my ID, ( the image) I just
    click on it .
  • Same goes for your Business license; click on 'choose file', files, and then select the image which should automatically upload.
  • The same process continues for your Your Tax Payer card, your Business Incorporation document, and your localization plan.
  • Every document requested here is very important, and the authenticity of your documents will determine if you are qualified to become a verified vendor on Buyam .
  • When you finish uploading all your documents, click 'Next' to proceed.
  • This is the last phase of the identification process. Here, you leave a description of your business. What is it all about, what are the services you seek to offer? etc.
  • Once you are done typing in, congratulations! You have completed all three stages and can now click on 'Finish'.
  • The Buyam team will review your documents and get back to you for Approval.
